The Law on the Protection of the right to be tried within a reasonable time has been adopted and published in The RS Official Gazette, aiming to ensure effective protection of the right to be tried within a reasonable time, guaranteed by the Constitution.
The Law introduces specific legal remedies before the court — an objection for the purpose of expediting the proceedings and an appeal, as well as the right to fair compensation for violation of the right to a trial within a reasonable time.
